Last Thursday 29 February, the first afterwork of Les Nits de Barcelona Secret Shows was held at CASA SEAT, a monthly event organised by Cervezas Alhambra, El Periódico and Clipper’s Group to captivate the city’s music and culture lovers under the framework of Les Nits de Barcelona festival.
On this occasion, the secret guest star was the Barcelonian band Sidonie, who, through a fun interview and a subsequent showcase, presented their tenth album Marc, Axel y Jes to the public, an LP of direct pop songs with which the band has claimed to offer “their best version”.
In addition, during this first Les Nits de Barcelona Secret Show, the participation of new artists was confirmed for the festival that will take place in the emblematic gardens of the Pedralbes Palace during the month of July.
Consolidating its position as a cultural meeting point of reference in the city, the Les Nits de Barcelona festival, organised by the Clipper’s Group, announced six new big names. Pretenders, Juanes, Joan Dausà, El Kanka, Mag Lari and Rufus Wainwright are now added to Patti Smith Quartet, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, Luz Casal, Sopa de Cabra, Vanesa Martín, Taburete, Mika, Diana Krall, Simple Minds, Mikel Izal and Passenger in the festival’s programme for July 2024.
In addition, Les Nits de Barcelona announced that the festival’s artistic programme will also feature six new emerging talents such as Mr. B, Laura Capdevila, Amaia Miranda, Paula Valls, Matilda Mirana and Marïe Pratt.
The president of the Clipper’s Group, Juli Guiu, said that “we are working to ensure that Les Nits de Barcelona festival presents a complete, diverse and high quality programme with a wide variety of local, national and international stars, giving space to both more established artists and new emerging talents in the emblematic gardens of the Pedralbes Palace during the month of July. These new confirmations reaffirm the Clipper’s Group’s commitment to offer a unique entertainment experience at Les Nits de Barcelona, where the public will be able to enjoy exceptional shows”.
In addition, for the second year running, those attending Les Nits de Barcelona festival will be able to enjoy a Village space in the heart of the gardens of the Pedralbes Palace where culture and gastronomy will coexist. The Village will once again feature a gastronomic offer that will bring together some of Barcelona’s top names in the restaurant industry with a variety of entertainment that will liven up the space with visual spectacles.
Thus, for yet another year, the experiences linked to the Les Nits de Barcelona festival will promote talent and human potential, creating a space for leisure and entertainment that foments culture within the framework of the emblematic gardens of the Pedralbes Palace.
