On 23 December, Palau Sant Jordi will host L’Última Gran Festa de l’Any, a major new live music event bringing together Sopa de Cabra, The Tyets, Els Catarres and Buhos for a night celebrating music in Catalan. Organised by Grup Clipper’s with the support of RACC, the concert is part of the celebrations marking the organisation’s 120th anniversary and will bring together audiences from different generations.
Taking place just before Christmas, L’Última Gran Festa de l’Any is set to be one of the final major live music events of 2026, bringing together four groups from different generations and musical styles. The line-up will combine some of the biggest hits from recent decades of Catalan music with the songs that are currently shaping the region’s music scene.
The event will also be particularly significant for the four groups taking part, as it will be their final concert of the year. For Els Catarres and The Tyets, it will also mark the end of their current tours. Buhos will arrive at Palau Sant Jordi in the midst of celebrations marking 20 years of their career, while Sopa de Cabra will be celebrating 40 years of their history.
With Palau Sant Jordi as its setting, the event aims to bring together audiences of all ages around a shared repertoire and celebrate the end of a special year through music, just before the Christmas holidays begin.
The concert will also be one of the events marking the culmination of the RACC’s 120th anniversary celebrations. Founded in 1906, RACC is celebrating 120 years of history in 2026, with a long-standing commitment to mobility, sport, safety and assistance.
Throughout 2026, RACC has marked this anniversary with a range of initiatives and activities celebrating its history while strengthening its connection with society. L’Última Gran Festa de l’Any will bring this year of celebrations to a close with an event open to the public, with music at its heart.
