Merino, Maren, Pablo López and Carlos Ares make up, so far, the festival’s line-up for next season.

Organised by Clipper’s Group, Suite Festival has announced the first line-up of artists confirmed for its 2024 edition. Looking ahead to next year, the concert series will continue to consolidate its position as a benchmark in Barcelona’s live music programme, offering a unique and varied musical experience. With a renewed focus and a refreshed image, the Suite Festival will host some of the most promising artists on the current music scene in different venues around the city.

Therefore, on 15th of March 2024, MERINO will present their second album entitled Himnos de Guerra at Razzmatazz 3 concert hall in Barcelona. Sandra Merino and Álex Gallego’s musical project stands out for its emotional and authentic songs. Their second album offers an optimistic perspective and collaborations with artists such as Mikel Izal and Iván Ferreiro.

The young indie artist born in Bilbao, Maren, will perform a concert on 22 March at Razzmatazz 3 in which she will review her best tracks from her discography, such as En el tunel de lavado and her hit La estación espacial de Teruel, as well as her latest single, Corre que el Rayo no te parta, in front of the audience. As well as previews of what will be their next album.

For all that, the outstanding musician and composer Pablo López will give an intimate concert at the Palau de la Música Catalana on April 11th as part of the tour of emblematic theatres that he will carry out during 2024 to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his musical career. Known for his sensitivity on the piano, the Malaga-born artist will offer a review of his extensive discography and will present previews of his next work.

Singer-songwriter and producer Carlos Ares will present his debut album Peregrino at Sala Wolf in Barcelona on April 18th. The artist will reflect his unique and authentic voice, blending his Galician roots with a passion for rural life. Ares presents himself as a musical pilgrim, sharing his journey with the public and consolidating himself as a promising artist.

Suite Festival has evolved in recent years as a mainstay of Barcelona’s music scene. In 2023 it made a conceptual transformation and completely renewed its image, offering a successful season in which five of the nine concerts were sold out, with high quality shows such as Dorian’s Una noche en la vida at the Gran Teatre de Liceu; the presentation of the album Cowboys de la A3 de Arde Bogotá, nominated for two Latin Grammy awards; and the concert by the Uruguayan band No Te Va Gustar at the Razzmatazz venue, and others.

Looking ahead to next season, the festival will continue to expand its range of musical genres, presenting an eclectic line-up that showcases new talent, reflecting its commitment to becoming a showcase for musical diversity and a meeting point for the celebration of live music in Barcelona’s venues.

Erik Newton, promoter of Clipper’s Group, said: “The first confirmations for Suite Festival 2024 reveal a careful selection that combines emerging new talent with more established artists. This approach will not only enrich the audience experience, but also supports the diversity and vitality of the city’s music ecosystem.”
